Hello, my name is Kylie and I am the owner, creative director, photographer and almost everything else for Photogreff.

Photography is my art.  I’ve always been creative in an artistic way for as long as I can remember.  I’ve been sketching people from the age of 3 or 4 and now I photograph people.  The same passion drives both creative genres as I look for curves, angles, light, shadows and expressions regardless of whether I’m drawing or shooting.

I love to photograph living subjects, people are much more fun than hardware, and so I specialise in Weddings, Family Portraits and Style Portraits. Style Portraits are an extension of the old fashioned ‘glamour’ portrait.  They reflect the style of the individual whether that is glamour, sporty, masculine, boudoir or completely natural.  I style the portrait session to the individual client.

At weddings I’m the observant storyteller, weaving in and out of conversations and rooms, capturing split second memories that preserve the day forever.  

I’m a self-confessed camera gear snob.  I only use Canon Professional gear including cameras and lenses.  Pro gear does make a difference to the end result.  I am an AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer (APP) and a member of Canon Professional Services. 

I live in Sydney and have a studio in Picton but I shoot anywhere.  I’ve got two dogs, a cat, two boys and a husband (not necessarily listed in order of importance - make no mistake ... the cat is very important).  As a parent of energetic sons I have developed a significant amount of patience, which is available in bucket-loads during family shoots.
